First baseman Prince Fielder rocketed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at the ballpark
as the Chicago Colts staged a comeback win over the Jefferson Park Penguins
by the count of 7 to 6.

Chicago erupted with the game winning runs in the 9th inning with 3 runs on 3
hits. Matt Diaz opened up the inning nicely when he drew a walk. Fielder
came to the plate and bombed a two-run dinger. Ronnie Belliard then stroked
a single. Two outs later Troy Tulowitzki stepped up to the plate and he was
walked intentionally. Ryan Hanigan came to the plate and doubled. Chicago
rapped out 13 hits for the night.

The win was credited to Doug Mathis(2-0) who went 2 and 2/3 innings allowing 1
run. Aaron Heilman(0-1) took the loss in relief. Mathis and Fielder were
really whooping it up in the clubhouse after the great come from behind
victory. As Rich Domovic noted, 'A win like this one can do wonders for a
team's attitude.' Everyone shares in the joy - the fans, the players - even
you guys - it's better than winning by a dozen runs!'
